The pH 4.01 buffer solution in a 1000 ml bottle is one of the most frequently used buffers.
pH 4.01 is perfect for achieving accurate acidic readings, especially useful for those working in water purification, the food industry, aquatics, hydroponics, and any situation where an acidic pH is required. Hanna's latest portable and bench microprocessor instruments are calibrated with pH 4.01.

Buffer solutions should be kept at 25°C and stored away from direct sunlight to ensure accuracy.
For optimal performance of your meter or electrode, we strongly recommend using a Hanna cleaning solution along with the buffer. pH 4 can also be used as an emergency storage solution.
