Overview:
The colorfastness to crocking test can be performed using a Manual Crockmeter, Electronic Crockmeter, or Rotary Vertical Crockmeter. Fabrics can be tested in both dry or wet conditions, using water or other liquids. The test measures the color transfer when fabrics are rubbed with a standard rubbing cloth, assessing the fabric’s durability and resistance to color loss.
Test Method:

- Available in special boxes containing 200 pieces each, with a total of 1000 pieces per box.
- Each box includes a Certificate of Conformity and a detailed Test Report.
- Developed in 1936 under AATCC Test Method 8 and others, the Testfabrics Crockmeter Test Cloth has become the industry standard after 75+ years of continuous improvements.
